Position Summary: Assist in the implementation of various recreation programs; provide assistance and information to program participants and perform related tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Recreation: Assist in the implementation of various recreation programs; provide assistance and information to program participants and perform related tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Office: Perform a variety of clerical tasks in support of assigned area and assist with basic sorting, filing and/or copying.
Labor: Perform manual labor tasks in support of assigned area and assist in general maintenance of a wide range of City facilities and operations. General maintenance or custodial experience preferred.
Some of these positions are safety sensitive positions and subject to random drug/alcohol testing. This is an unclassified at-will position.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements:
Recreation: Must be at least 16 years old. Applicants 15 years of age may be eligible for the entry level position with a required work permit. Recreation program experience preferred.
Office: Must be at least 16 years old. Applicants 15 years of age may be eligible for the entry level position with a required work permit. Office and/or clerical support experience preferred.
Labor: Must be at least 16 years old. Applicants 15 years of age may be eligible for the entry level position with a required work permit. General maintenance or custodial experience preferred.
Preferred Knowledge: Recreation programs and services Modern office procedures, methods and equipment including computers Basic principles and practices of record keeping Principles and procedures of clerical support Basic office procedures, methods and computer equipment Principles and procedures of filing Principles and procedures of semi-skilled manual labor General cleaning and maintenance techniques Operational characteristics of basic maintenance equipment and tools Occupational hazards and standard safety practices
