Primary Purpose Serves as instructional teaching assistant to a regular education classroom.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Major Responsibilities • Assist teacher in one-to-one or small group instruction. • Assist in maintenance of structured classroom routine. • Perform program-related data-keeping tasks. • Operate duplicating laminating and audio-visual equipment. • Assist teacher in providing a behavior management program which emphasizes positive reinforcement. • Assist with extracurricular activities and similar events. • Help keep classroom orderly and attractive. • Decorate bulletin boards. Other duties as assigned by the teacher, lead teacher, and/or principal.

Additional Job Information This position is expected to attend a 3-day World Language Academy Institute. This is a pooled position. It is open year-round even if no current openings exist.
