NOTICE OF VACANCY 2026-2027 Speech Language Pathologist
Part-Time up to 4 hours a day Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a part-time up to 4 hours a day speech language pathologist position that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders • Hold or be eligible for an active license with a valid endorsement in speech language pathology issued by the Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLPP) • Possess a professional understanding of speech-language disorders • Possess thorough knowledge and ability to administer appropriate speech-language tests and support materials • Demonstrate ability to support students by cooperatively working with parents/guardians and teachers • Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework • Create and maintain an inclusive supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students • Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills • Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment • Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Have experience working with students with disabilities in preschool through high school • Have experience delivering speech therapy services within an inclusive environment
FLSA Exempt SALARY: $43.33 - $60.25 per hour commensurate with experience
