• Pay Range: $70,977 - $120,072 Annually
• Addl Salary Info: $1,500 stipend for MA & $1,500 stipend for DR

Job Description & Requirements San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for an Elementary School Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) teacher.

There are a variety of credential options available for this position, including:

• Multiple Subject credential with substantiated experience and skills in the identified VAPA areas, or supplemental authorization to teach related VAPA classes and English Learner Authorization.
• Single Subject Visual Art credential.
• Single Subject Music credential.
• Single Subject Industrial and Technology Education credential.
• Single Subject Dance credential.
• Single Subject Theater credential.
• Single Subject Media Arts, along with authorization to teach English learners.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Teacher to join our school communities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and enthusiasm for cultural and world music with a strong emphasis in this area, including but not limited to:

• Mariachi
• Bollywood
• Japanese drumming (Taiko)
• Chinese music traditions

Or will have experience in digital and/or media arts.

Bilingual Candidates Strongly Encouraged to Apply
