Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated paraprofessionals to support Passport to Learning enrichment programs. Successful candidates will assist classroom instructors and provide meaningful support to students during after-school programming.

Qualifications

• Current paraprofessional status (Substitute license preferred)
• Prior Passport to Learning experience (Preferred)
• Availability for both time blocks (Preferred)
• Strong attendance record in prior academic year (Preferred)
• Flexibility and consistency to support classroom needs (Mandatory)

We reserve the right to adjust schedules as needed to match student enrollment and instructional needs.

Scheduling Options

• Block 1: 3:154:15 PM
• Block 2: 4:155:15 PM
• Full Session: 3:155:15 PM (Preferred)

Assignments may include one or both blocks depending on program needs and staffing alignment.

Compensation Details

• Paraprofessional Rate: As per NEA contract
• Substitute Rate: If a paraprofessional with a valid substitute license serves as the sole instructor in any room on any day, they will be compensated at the certified teacher (HEA) rate.
• Substitute Teachers working as a paraprofessional - $18/hour
