2026-2027 MBK/MSK PROGRAM MENTORS
(25) District-Wide Teaching Staff, Mental Health and CSEA Faculty Members
The Longwood My Brother's Keeper (MBK) and My Sister's Keeper (MSK) Programs are seeking dedicated
staff members to serve as mentors for participating students. Mentors are expected to maintain
consistent engagement with students, actively participate in all required meetings and events, and
demonstrate a commitment to the mission and goals of the Longwood MBK/MSK programs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:

Mentors are expected to establish and maintain meaningful relationships through ongoing check-ins

? Black History Month Celebration - February 2027
? MBK/MSK Evening End of Year Gala - May 2027
o Provide assistance before, during, and after Family and Community Engagement Events, including
but not limited to:
o Event planning and preparation
o Student outreach and participation
o Family engagement activities
o Event setup and breakdown
o Event facilitation and supervision
o Follow-up activities and communication
promote positive outcomes for participating students.
Total Hours: Club Rate (MITA $43 or CSEA hourly rate): Not to exceed 35 hours per mentor, Middle
School not to exceed 40 hours per mentor
Planning/Staff Development Rate (MITA $50 or CSEA hourly rate): Not to exceed 10 hours per mentor
(monthly meetings with program managers/assistant managers)
Salary: MITA/CSEA contractual rate
