Position Summary

The Front Office Clerk serves as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office while supporting daily school operations and administrative functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries

· Manage student check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with school policies

· Assist with attendance tracking and documentation

· Maintain accurate student records while ensuring confidentiality

· Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries

· Perform data entry, filing, and general clerical duties

· Support onboarding paperwork and administrative processes as needed

· Coordinate appointments, meetings, and front office scheduling

· Maintain office supplies and request orders as needed

· Ensure the front office area remains clean, organized, and presentable

· Provide support to administrators, teachers, and staff as needed

· Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive and structured school culture

 

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (required)

· Previous experience in a school office, front desk, or administrative role (preferred)

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar systems

· Experience with student information systems or HR systems (preferred)

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced school environment

· Professional demeanor and positive attitude
