Description: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award-winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Replacement Substitute Computer Teacher for the Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School with the following qualifications:
Qualifications: • NJ Certification(s)/License Required 1000 - Elementary School K-8; or 1001 - Elementary School K-6 with a 1103 - Middle School Endorsement in Science; or 1001 - Elementary School K-6) with a 1107 - Middle School Endorsement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); or 1810 - Technology Education; or 1820 - Computer Science
Ability to immerse students in exploration, innovation, creativity, and collaboration so they become experienced at trying new methods to solve real-world problems.
Background in Design Thinking Knowledge of computer-aided design and printing Ability to support students in engaging in the engineering process Understanding of designing algorithms and using computational thinking practices.
Driven to continually participate in professional development to keep technology opportunities current and relevant.
Terms of Employment: Leave Replacement Position Non-Tenure Track
Daily Rate of Pay: $228.26 (1-60 days) $313.00 (61+ days)
