Box Loader/Unloader – West Jordan, UT (Weekend Shift)

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Box Loaders/Unloaders in West Jordan. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and are motivated by performance-based pay.

Job Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of freight, ensuring trailers are loaded and unloaded safely and productively.

Loading Responsibilities:

• Hand-load boxes from a conveyor onto trailers (floor loading)
• Scan packages into trailers using handheld scanners
• Transport cages to and from staging areas
• Maintain organized, secure, and efficient loading practices

Unloading Responsibilities:

• Unload boxes from floor-loaded trailers onto a conveyor system
• Scan and sort packages into designated cages
• Work quickly while maintaining accuracy and safety standards

Compensation:

• Paid per trailer / per case loaded or unloaded
• Average earnings: $16–$25 per hour
• Top performers may earn $25–$35 per hour
• Higher productivity directly increases earning potential

Schedule:

• Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 12-hour shifts
• Additional weekday work may be available as needed

Requirements:

• Strong attendance and punctuality are required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be able to lift and carry 5–50 lbs consistently
• Capable of sustained physical work for extended periods
• Reliable transportation is required
