The 1st Shift Metal Fabricator role involves precise preparation and forming of steel components to support welding and production teams.
Reporting to the Welding Shop Supervisor, the position requires operating industrial machinery such as plate rolls, press brakes, and shears to fabricate parts accurately according to engineering specifications.
Shift hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a pay rate of $20-$25/hour.
Key responsibilities include ensuring quality through inspection, managing raw materials using forklifts and cranes, performing routine equipment maintenance, maintaining detailed production records, and adhering to safety protocols.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in sheet steel forming, strong blueprint reading skills, advanced math proficiency, and expertise with shop tools and measurement instruments.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, maintain efficiency independently, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential.
