Pro Resources is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler for a growing manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, a four-day workweek, and long-term career growth.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime is likely available on Fridays
What You'll Do
- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running efficiently.
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Record material movements using inventory management software.
- Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kanban practices.
- Work closely with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Associate, or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience required.
- Forklift experience is required; prior certification is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
