1st Shift Lead Tire Warehouse

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated 1st Shift Lead Tire Warehouse to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations during the first shift, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate shipping and receiving, and smooth team coordination. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse team members during the first shift, providing guidance, training, and motivation to meet daily goals.
• Manage inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
• Oversee shipping and receiving operations, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate materials handling activities, including heavy lifting, forklift operation, and proper storage of tires to optimize space utilization.
• Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and workflow productivity.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Collaborate with logistics partners such as 3PL providers to ensure timely delivery and distribution of products in an e-commerce driven environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor within a tire or materials handling environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and AS400 platform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent communication skills and team management capabilities.
• Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of materials handling equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations.
• Prior experience working with 3PL providers or in e-commerce distribution is a plus.
