Primary Function
The classroom teacher assistant is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, responsible adults under the direction of the classroom teacher/team
Key Relationships
The teacher assistant reports to the principal and is supervised by the principal. Other key relationships include the assistant principal, grade level team, and his/her assigned teacher.

The teacher assistant must have the ability to work tactfully and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
He/she must display evidence of an educational philosophy in agreement with that of Holy Family Catholic Academy.
He/she must display an ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

This position has an hourly range of $15.50 - $17.00. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
