Job Reference: 14131 - Posted 14-Apr-2026

Together we change lives.

Kelly is a team of experts driven by our belief that the impact of the right person in the right job is limitless.

No matter where you are in your career journey you can apply your knowledge and passion to move people, organizations, and communities forward. You'll have opportunities to grow your expertise and capabilities, both professionally and personally. As a team we celebrate inclusion, caring and collaboration. As a company we value your contribution, we work with integrity, and we always put people first - so your impact really will change lives.

Kelly Services is adding a Senior Procurement Consultant to lead strategic sourcing across professional services and select enterprise categories. This is a newly created seat built for someone who brings a disciplined negotiation framework, strong vendor relationships, and the operational depth to manage high-value contracts from competitive bid through close.

You will own a meaningful portion of Kelly's vendor portfolio, partner directly with executive stakeholders, and drive measurable cost savings against defined P&L targets. This role sits within a high-performing procurement team that operates as a true center of excellence, not a transactional back office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Vendor Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead sourcing and contract negotiations for the professional services category and additional assigned categories, targeting best-in-class pricing and terms.
  • Portfolio Ownership: Serve as the primary procurement contact for a defined vendor portfolio managing relationships, resolving escalations, and conducting structured renewal reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Finance, and business unit leaders to align procurement strategy with organizational priorities and budget targets.
  • Spend Analytics: Conduct utilization audits and spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and inform negotiation positioning.
  • VMS Program Management: Oversee VMS operations supporting professional services sourcing, ensuring process compliance and performance visibility.
  • Reporting & Governance: Contribute to team savings reporting, vendor scorecards, and procurement governance documentation.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of progressive procurement experience, with demonstrated ownership of professional services sourcing and multi-category contract management.
  • Proven negotiation track record and ability to structure contracts, manage competitive bid (RFx) processes, and demonstrate savings outcomes at the executive level.
  • VMS platform experience required (supporting professional services/contingent labor sourcing).
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable building and presenting data-backed recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Coupa and/or Workday experience is a plus.
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and confident operating in a matrixed environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

Base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year. Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.

Total compensation package including benefits as applicable to the position - understanding that each person has unique professional and personal needs focused on your total well-being. Explore our range of benefits at: Kelly Services | People Regular Staff
