We are looking for a 1115 Alignment Coordinator - Term Limited to join our Behavioral Health Benefits (BHB) team!
The Behavioral Health Benefits (BHB) Section is responsible for implementing and monitoring Behavioral Health Benefits services, overseeing operations, and driving performance improvement efforts across multiple delivery systems, and providing administrative oversight of the 1115 waiver and demonstrations. This includes administering
federal and state-level changes for 1115 waiver work, FFS BH benefits and the Capitated Behavioral Health Program operated by the Regional Accountable Entities (RAEs). The Section interprets and operationalizes state and federal behavioral health FFS and managed care and mental health parity regulations to ensure compliance
and effective program implementation.
We are onboarding new employees using a hybrid approach. The Department supports flexible work arrangements. Depending on the business need and description of the position, we have options that range from hybrid to full-time in the office. Specific discussions about the schedule will be discussed during the offer stage.
Please note - equipment provisioning and certain onboarding tasks will take place in person, in our downtown Denver office, on the first day of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
There are two ways to qualify for this position:
Option 1:
Experience Only:
Six (6) years of professional experience in project management, administrative management of programs, creating and using organizational tools, policy research, drafting and report writing, or an occupational field closely related.
Option 2:
Education and Experience:
A bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a social science, clinical behavioral health or public policy, or a field of study related to the work assignment and two (2) years of professional experience in project management, administrative management of programs, creating and using organizational tools, policy research, drafting and report writing, or an occupational field closely related.
Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Relevant education will be calculated as the following:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior state experience related to the duties of this position.
Masters degree in a social science, clinical behavioral health or public health.
Experience in drafting policies for internal and external users.
Experience with CMS waiver support or management.
