What Youll Do:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, including blood banking and transfusion services
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure quality control protocols are followed accurately
- Calculate, verify, and report test results
- Assist in developing and implementing new testing procedures and protocols
- Support specimen processing, handling, and reporting
- Cross-train in other laboratory sections as needed
What You Need:
- Valid Certification: MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from recognized agencies (ASCP, AMT, AAB, HEW/HHS)
- Excellent transfusion service skills, blood banking expertise required
- Prior experience in blood banking strongly preferred
- Ability to work Saturday through Monday, 6AM-7:30PM
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
