$35–$40/hour + $4.50/hour Night Differential
We're seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is passionate about delivering high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced acute care environment. In this role, you'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team while using advanced respiratory technologies to support patients across a variety of clinical needs.
This position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills, work with diverse patient populations, and play a key role in improving patient outcomes.
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure monitoring
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient needs and response to therapy
Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Assist with artificial airway placement and manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilation
Initiate, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilation based on patient response
Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in respiratory status
Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients when necessary
Respond to emergency situations and resuscitations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
Active Florida state RRT license
Completion of a two-year AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (Associate degree or equivalent)
Minimum 6 months of recent acute-care experience
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire
Competitive pay: $35–$40 per hour
Night shift differential: +$4.50 per hour
High-acuity clinical experience in a dynamic acute-care setting
