GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER! DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the lead designer in a variety of water resources projects including those related to NPDES, stormwater management water quality, water and wastewater, and watershed management. This person will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with engineering and GIS staff, perform engineering analyses and design. Responsible for preparing work plans, manpower requirements, and anticipating both manpower and technical project requirements. Coordinates work between other disciplines within the firm that are working on the design assignment Review Plans, Specifications, and Estimates at various milestones to insure completeness and accuracy of work. Develop reports and presentations. Meet financial performance goals on assigned projects. Assist with market development, and handle client relations.
REQUIREMENTS: A BS degree in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field. 7 plus years of water resources related experience. Active Professional Engineer license (PE) or ability to obtain one rapidly through reciprocity. Experience with managing task independently and in a team environment Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics, stormwater management, storm drain design. Extensive experience with at least 3 of the following engineering modeling programs:SWMM, XPSWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or TR-2 Strong background in storm-water management, storm drain, and erosion & sediment control design related to highway/roadway projects Experience managing construction phase a must.
