Sams Club Member Specialist

Position Summary

Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, and identifying member needs. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Properly handles returns, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, and identifies shrink and damages
  • Provides member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, and identifying member needs
  • Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues and concerns
  • Assists with securing and safeguarding Sams Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity
  • Maintains paperwork logs and other required documentation
  • Executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices

Training and Development

  • Assists with the training of Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures
  • Teaches new technology and tool functionality
  • Delivers new program rollout training and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities

Compliance and Ethics

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applies these in executing business processes and practices
