# Position Summary... # What youll do... ## Role summary The USA Director Product Management Forcasting leads the development and execution of comprehensive product strategies leveraging data-driven insights to drive effective decision-making and customer-focused solutions. With a strong emphasis on communication and leadership, this position advances business objectives through strategic planning, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. ## About the team The Walmart Inventory Planning and Replenishment Product Management team leads the development of advanced Planning and Forecasting capabilities powered by machine learning and statistical modeling. This team manages the Inventory Planning ecosystem across omni-channel network, focusing on Forecasting, Inventory Placement, Inventory Targets, and Item Exits. These products optimize inventory positioning, safety stock, and item lifecycle to enhance operational efficiency. The team values strong ownership, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration with engineering and business partners to deliver innovative solutions. Members drive product strategy execution and continuous improvement to support Walmarts supply chain excellence. ### What youll do Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to inform product decisions and optimize feature performance. Drive product vision and strategy by identifying market opportunities and defining success metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to secure resources and foster alignment. Mentor and guide team members in product management best practices and process improvements. Oversee product development lifecycles, including MVP creation and scaling strategies. Promote adoption of emerging technologies and innovation within product portfolios. ### What youll bring Deep understanding of data science for forecasting use cases. Strong Knowledge of ecommerce, retail, supply chain. Proven expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management in complex environment. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and driving cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including analytics tools and insight extraction to inform product direction. Deep understanding of customer needs, journey mapping, and process optimization to enhance product value. Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities to build consensus and align resources. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, MVP creation, and modern product development practices. Familiarity with emerging technologies, system architecture concepts, and innovation management. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
