Travel Electrophysiology (EP) Tech

Location: Riverview, Florida
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Day Shifts (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Compensation Package

• Pay Rate: $24.50/hour
• Overtime Rate: $36.75/hour
• Weekly Taxable Pay: $980
• Weekly Per Diem: $1,596
• Total Weekly Gross Pay:$2,576

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Tech for a 13-week travel assignment. This position requires a skilled professional with experience in both Electrophysiology Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The selected candidate will support EP cases and assist with Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures as needed.

Initially, the role will include EP procedures one day per week and Cath Lab/IR procedures the remaining days. As the EP program expands, EP responsibilities are expected to increase.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrophysiology studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Support cardiac ablations, cardiac mapping, and arrhythmia induction procedures.
• Assist with pacemaker and AICD implantation and programming.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedural equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete accurate procedural documentation and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Tech experience
• Previous travel experience required
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience with:
  • Electrophysiology Studies
  • Arrhythmia Induction
  • Baseline Measurements
  • Cardiac Ablation
  • Cardiac Mapping
  • Pacemaker Insertion
  • AICD Insertion/Programming
  • Hemodynamic Monitoring
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization
  • PCI Procedures
  • Left Heart Catheterization

Preferred Qualifications

• Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Interventional Radiology experience
• Cerner EMR experience
