Job Description: : Job Title: Service Technician (Trailer Repair & Maintenance) Location: Mt Joy PA Job Type: Full-Time Mon-Fri 8am-430pm $21-$26hr DOE J ob Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trailers and transportation equipment. This role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy mechanical work, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair trailers and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency Build, rebuild, and repair trailer components according to specifications Read and interpret work orders to complete repairs accurately and efficiently Document all repair work in accordance with company standards Assist team members with complex repairs as needed Communicate professionally with customers and vendors to resolve service issues Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in mechanical repair, technician work, or carpentry preferred Skills & Abilities: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools Basic computer skills for documentation and work order processing Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Experience installing and repairing components such as: Panels, rails, flooring, and doors Lighting and wiring systems Brakes, valves, airlines, and wheel components Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must provide own basic hand tools Requirements: Ability to pass background check, physical exam, and drug screening Authorization to work in the United States Work Environment & Schedule Work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment Full-time schedule, typically Monday-Friday (day shift) Occasional overtime or Saturday work may be required Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Retirement savings plans (including employer match) Paid time off and holidays Tuition reimbursement opportunities Career growth and advancement potential
