This role is a full‑time staff position with benefits and paid time off available.ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure computers, networks, peripherals, routers, firewalls, printers, scanners, and audio/visual equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, networks, and related equipment.Monitor and evaluate system and network performance, making recommendations for changes or upgrades as warranted.Provide proactive technology solutions and recommendations to clients to improve efficiency and profitability, using persuasive and diplomatic communication skills.QualificationsTCP/IP Networking LAN/WAN ExperienceWireless Networking ExperienceRouter and firewall ExperienceVPN ExperienceVMware or MS Hyper‑V ExperienceMicrosoft Office ExperienceMicrosoft Server ExperienceMicrosoft Windows Active Directory ExperienceExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills are a must.Ability to work alone as well as part of a team is a must.Excellent attention to detail.A+ and Network+ certifications are a plus.Telco Experience is a plus.Audio/Video Experience is a plus.Other RequirementsMust have a clean driving record and reliable transportation with insurance.Required to travel to customer locations throughout the Central IL area.Must be dependable with a professional appearance.Must submit to a drug screening and background check.Salary and BenefitsExpected salary $30,000–$40,000 per year, not including sales commission potential. Benefits and paid time off are available.LocationSpringfield, IL.
