Position: Director / Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction

Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for license and certification as Certified Central Office Personnel in accordance with 14 Del.C.§1592 or School Principal/Assistant Principal in accordance with 14Del.C.§1591.
Be committed to Sussex County Vocational Technical School District's mission, vision, and values.
Prior experience as a school district administrator, preferred.
Prior experience in adult education and/or career and technical education, preferred.
Performance Responsibilities:
Serve as lead curriculum and instruction administrator for the school district.
Oversee the development of curriculum and implementation of sound instructional practices.
Support adult education program with curricular and instructional needs.
Oversee all district policies for curriculum and instruction.
Serve as liaison with the Delaware Department of Education - Attend CTE Cadre and Curriculum Cadre meetings.
Lead development of Consolidated, CTE Perkins, and Opportunity grant funding.
Oversee all student testing.
Serve as a member of the District Administrative Cabinet.
All other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment: Twelve (12) month administrative position.
Salary and Benefits: Pension and benefit eligible position. Competitive salary commensurate with verified qualifications, education, and experience.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
