Stress Engineer - FEA - TX - 1377- Feb 2025
Our client in Texas has several contract aircraft structures stress positions starting soon, focused on aircraft freighter modifications. The team is specifically looking for candidates with expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), freighter conversion/modification, doors, fuselage, and primary structures analysis engineering.
Jobs Roles & Responsibilities.
Provide stress analysis on metallic and composite aircraft components, using Finite Element Analysis Software and/or hand calculations, to ensure airworthiness of structural modification to Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
Works independently and with guidance from the Engineering Manager to plan and perform structural analysis of aircraft primary and secondary structures and interior components.
Interfaces with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Shop Personnel and Management.
The Analyst will perform various analyses including Ultimate, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.
Prepare Static Test plans, Interface Loads reports and Structural Substantiation reports and Create Finite element and Nastran models.
