Structural Steel DetailerGalvanizers Inc. is looking for a mid-level, motivated Structural Detailer to join our team. The detailer will convert the structural engineer's design into a comprehensive Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) for the fabrication shop.
RESPONSIBILITIESExtracts the final, detailed BOM from drawings, ensuring that all pieces are accounted for, including, but not limited to: beams, columns, bracing, and connection plates - accuracy is vital.
Quantity Verification- Verifies that the quantities listed in the BOM match the detailed drawings to prevent shortages or overages.?
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES- Strong skills in material identification.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to interpret Blueprints/Structural Drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize ensuring all timelines and deadlines are met.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Secondary Education Helpful but not required.
EXPERIENCE - Preferred One (1) year of Steel Fabrication

SCHEDULE:- Monday through Thursday
- 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Closed Fridays
Compensation $23 - $25 per hour
