Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to join our client prominent and rapidly expanding real estate team. This role involves overseeing, managing, analyzing, and maintaining the financial records for various Real Estate Income funds/products. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients, fiduciaries, counterparties, and regulatory bodies, while also providing oversight for offshore teams. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $105,000 to $160,000 per year.

Job Description:

  • Ensure funds are accounted for in accordance with governing documents, advisory agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Review, reconcile, and participate in the operational setup of complex transactions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage available liquidity by determining and preparing distributions and drawdowns from a mix of debt and equity vehicles.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to drive firm-wide efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate with and manage independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, internal/external stakeholders, offshore teams, and fund administrators to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including complex allocations, waterfalls, fees, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in public or private accounting
  • Least 2 years in the investment management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Real Estate funds/investments as an asset class.
  • Familiarity with investment management operations and performance.
  • Solid analytical abilities to understand and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
