Position SummaryThe Senior Director, Product & Design leads the definition, strategic direction, and execution of product and design initiatives across a healthcare software portfolio. This role drives innovation, user-centered design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, compliant, and impactful solutions. This is a highly visible leadership position requiring a dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused executive.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision- Develop, communicate, and execute a compelling product strategy aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap, balancing priorities across core platform enhancements, new product development, and innovation initiatives.
- Drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
- Represent the voice of the customer through direct engagement, research, and market feedback.
- Anticipate changes in healthcare delivery, reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Champion the use of artificial intelligence and automation to improve both internal processes and customer-facing solutions.
Design Leadership- Promote deep customer and user understanding to elevate design thinking and user-centered innovation.
- Ensure product and design teams deliver intuitive, workflow-driven, and accessible user experiences.
- Lead design execution across multiple product teams.
- Establish and evolve design systems, user experience standards, and scalable design practices while maintaining quality and consistency.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration- Build strong partnerships with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align product initiatives with organizational goals.
- Facilitate agile delivery and iterative product development.
- Partner closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to support product launches and ongoing market adoption.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners to inform product strategy and innovation.
Analytics & Market Insights- Translate customer feedback and market intelligence into differentiated product offerings.
- Leverage data and analytics to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Establish feedback loops that drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
Delivery Excellence & Process Improvement- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
- Ensure predictable product delivery while maintaining flexibility for innovation and discovery.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize product performance and user experience.
- Drive measurable outcomes across customer adoption, satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
People Leadership- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Product Managers, Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and related team members.

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare software, SaaS, digital health, or a regulated technology environment.
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience managing multidisciplinary product organizations.
- Proven track record delivering successful software products in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in agile product development methodologies and the full digital product lifecycle.
- Experience leading global teams and collaborating across functions and geographies.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven decision making to improve products and workflows.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, healthcare privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience incorporating AI/ML capabilities into software products.
- Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or related certifications preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills.
