Reservations ManagerReports to: Director of Revenue ManagementSalary: $65k -$75kFouquet's New York is seeking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Reservation Manager to join our dynamic team. The Hotel Reservations Manager is responsible for managing all reservation activities, supervising reservations staff, optimizing room occupancy, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role works closely with the Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and Housekeeping team to maximize hotel revenue while maintaining high guest satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the reservations department.Supervise, train, and schedule reservations team members.Manage room inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue.Monitor reservation systems and ensure booking accuracy.Handle individual and group reservations, modifications, and cancellations.Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms.Resolve guest complaints and special reservation requests professionally.Coordinate with the Sales and Revenue teams on pricing strategies and room availability.Analyze booking trends, occupancy reports, and forecasting data.Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.Maintain accurate guest and reservation records.Monitor online travel agency (OTA) bookings and distribution channels.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation performance reports.Assist with implementing promotional packages and seasonal offers.Qualifications3–5 years of hotel reservations or front office experience.Previous supervisory or management experience.Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, ExtranetsStrong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Required SkillsLeadership and team supervisionCustomer service excellenceProblem-solving and conflict resolutionAttention to detailTime managementData analysis and reportingSales and upselling techniquesCommunication and interpersonal skillsComputer literacy and reservation software proficiencyTypical Work EnvironmentFull-time positionMay require evenings, weekends, and holiday shiftsFrequent interaction with guests, travel agents, and hotel departmentsThis role will be office-based and will require regular presence on-site to support community-building efforts and fostering strong relationshipsJob Type: Full-TimeBenefits: Health/Vision/Dental Insurance/Life Insurance/Paid Time OffFouquet's New York is an equal opportunity employer.
