    Production Technician

    Distinctive Kitchens and Baths is currently seeking a Production Technician to join the team. This role is responsible for supporting the production process through the assembly of cabinets and related components, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    On a daily basis, the Production Technician will load cabinet parts onto production lines, assemble cabinets and hardware, inspect finished products for quality standards, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This role also supports machining and production teams as needed and contributes to meeting production deadlines and overall operational efficiency.

    Success in this role means consistently producing high-quality cabinet products, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure production goals are met.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include:

    • Load cabinet parts onto production lines for assembly
    • Assemble cabinet components and hardware as required
    • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
    • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to support production efficiency and deadlines
    • Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials as required
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and production floor
    • Assist machining department when needed
    • Follow all company health and safety standards and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    Education, experience, and qualifications:

    Required qualifications:

    Legal authorization to work in the United States

    Ability to perform physical labor in a warehouse/manufacturing environment

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

    Ability to work effectively as part of a team

    Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required

    Ability to stand for long periods of time

    Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 60 lbs

    Preferred qualifications (nice-to-haves):

    Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment

    Familiarity with production equipment and machinery (a plus, not required)

    Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or construction environments

    Experience in production or cabinet operations is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

    Ability to visually inspect products for quality and defects

    Work environment:

    Warehouse and production environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations

    Use of standard warehouse tools and equipment including hand tools, box cutters, tape dispensers, and forklifts (as applicable)

    May require working under tight production deadlines

    Fast-paced manufacturing setting requiring teamwork and focus
