Logistics CoordinatorShift Timings: M-Th in office/ Fri WFH; 10am - 6pmPay Rate: $22.00/hour - $24.00/hourJob DescriptionAs Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate transportation, manufacturing, and materials to and from vendors. Your goal will be to ensure approved vendors have adequate material stock, and will be enforcing CSR policy with documentation, such as contracts and vendor compliance.In addition, you will assist in managing transportation partners and support day-to-day inbound and outbound transportation. You will be involved in warehousing/distribution order processing, logistics, and ASN enforcement.This team member will be responsible for interacting with many departments and customers each day and play a versatile role within the organization, as well as external warehousing partner relationships.How You'll CreateDevelop and coordinate strategic and daily operational relationships with manufacturing vendors globallyWork closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to and from our fulfillment centersSupport the Operations Team with shipment scheduling and tracking on Monday.coPurchasing new supplies and fostering relationships with vendors, as well as attempting to cut costs by leveraging bulk discountsSchedule supply deliveries to Vendors to minimize slowdown in the production processProper inventory management of company supplies for vendors and tour departmentAudit warehouse orders and inventory stock where necessaryPrepare and report on quality KPIsEnsure vendor chargebacks are issued for non-complianceCrosstrain across the operations teamSpecial projects as assignedSchedule shipments for the tour team and track each shipment thoroughlyGather logistics news, trends, industry updates and share with other departmentsBring Your Vibe1-2 years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in business or Logistics preferredExperience with order management and customer serviceStrong computer skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office SuiteHigh level of attention to detailKnowing how or where to obtain information; is resourcefulAbility to analyze data and trends, make educated conclusions based upon dataEmbraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performanceProven verbal and written communication skillsPrioritizes work activities; plans and stays organizedManages timelines; deals effectively with the challenges of a fast pace, high pressure environment and deadlinesTakes independent action and work autonomouslyTakes initiative and seeks increased responsibilitiesExperience in consumer products, retail operations, or e-commerce is preferredLogistics and transportation preferredIn-house warehousing and distribution experience preferred
