Coordinates continuous improvement activities within various systems and between the support functions.ResponsibilitiesMonitors work order (WO) due dates in order to recognize trends/problems to ensure product is shipped to customer on time and to keep manufacturing management abreast of product flowLeads reoccurring meetings to drive closure of overdue WOsCoordinates rework and upgrades WOs (finding assemblies on production floor, getting assemblies to common location, coordinating release to new WO with Cage, PPS and BaaN transactions, etc.)Serves as the focal point for machine line scheduling for backlogged machines on conflicting prioritiesCoordinates production output goal setting for any special circumstancesServes as the focal point for Support for changes to machine line or Wave operations PMsResearches and corrects over/under issue discrepancies on sub-assemblies and final assembliesServes as the liaison for Configuration Analysts, Schedulers, Stockroom and Production Leaders for manufacturing order releases, priorities, holds, subassembly availability, and kit/part shortagesEnsures timely documentation, database management, progress reports, and corrective action follow upCoordinates completion of ASRs and RMRs, including data entry to scrap trackerTracks daily status and progress and work to resolve issues with support groupsReviews material discrepancy reports, locate components and make tracking adjustments, as neededMaintains tracker for containment inventory on the production floorMonitors releases to ensure alignment with customer forecastWorks with leadership in locating and identifying aged WIPCoordinates movement of WIP between departments or facilitiesAll employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.Other information2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience, 2+ years with Microsoft OfficeAbility to read, write and perform basic mathExperience working with associated Microsoft productsDemonstrate very good knowledge of business systems associated with production schedulingAbility to train Production Leaders in production scheduling concepts and proceduresEffective organization and prioritization skillsEffective interpersonal skills- able to mentor othersProven ability to complete projects in a timely mannerAbility to support a 24/7 global business operation as requiredDemonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the companyExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbility to work well as an individual or on teamsDemonstrate ability to work effectively with internal customersUnderstanding of and ability to use continuous improvement toolsParticipate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation formatEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentGeographical Location: Minnesota:RochesterPhysical Location: Rochester, MNShift: Shift 1Work Schedule: M-Th 0530-1600Full TimeIn our innovative environment, you'll work with cutting-edge technology, leading the way in engineering design and delivering world-class manufacturing services for products that make a real difference in the lives of others.
