Position Overview
The Department of OB/Gyn seeks an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist for a full-time position within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Departments services. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians who are interested in resident education and direct patient care in an academic center. Members of the division supervise resident continuity clinics, the gynecology teaching service, and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation. Additionally, they have an active role in medical student education. The division has an active faculty practice at 5 outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility. Providers include 20 obstetrician-gynecologists, 3 gynecologists, and 7 nurse-midwives. Faculty expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding.
Requirements
- MD or DO or equivalent
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program
- Obtain a licensure from the State of Ohio Medical Board
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
