Non-Ferrous Shipping & Receiving Warehouse AssociateLocation: Locust Grove, GASchedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | Saturday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.Pay: $1100/week with career growth opportunitiesAbout the RoleM&M Recycling is seeking an experienced Non-Ferrous Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our non-ferrous warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and outbound shipments of non-ferrous metals. This is not a general warehouse position --prior warehouse experience and familiarity with metal materials are required.This position offers both a skilled warehouse career and the opportunity to grow into advanced non-ferrous, inventory, or leadership roles over time.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficientlyIdentify, sort, and grade non-ferrous metals (including copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, and alloys)Prepare material for shipment, including palletizing, banding, labeling, and staging loadsAssist with outbound shipments to mills and export containersAccurately update inventory using company software and tracking systemsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, and other warehouse equipmentMaintain organization, cleanliness, and material flow within the non-ferrous warehouseSupport inventory counts, reconciliation, and documentationFollow all OSHA, company safety, and PPE requirementsRequired Experience & QualificationsPrior warehouse experience requiredScrap metal or non-ferrous material experience strongly preferredAbility to accurately identify non-ferrous metalsForklift experience required (certification or ability to obtain)Comfortable using scales, inventory systems, and basic computer softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyValid driver's licensePhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsStanding, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periodsIndoor warehouse and outdoor yard environmentExposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise typical of a scrap metal operationRequired use of PPE including steel-toe boots, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protectionSafety & Hiring RequirementsPre-employment drug screeningBackground checkForklift certification (or willingness to obtain)OSHA and company safety training providedCareer GrowthThis role can remain a skilled warehouse position or grow into opportunities such as:Non-ferrous inventory or shipping leadAdvanced material grading and processingNon-ferrous buying or warehouse leadership#J-18808-Ljbffr
