We are seeking a talented Senior Specialist who thrives as a technical leader and is passionate about using state-of-the-art web technologies to build compelling, interactive applications. Our mission is to deliver robust solutions that create measurable value for our clients in a collaborative, engaging environment.

At RWT, we work every day to improve our clients' experience by applying innovative technology and creative problem-solving to complex challenges.

What you'll do:

As a Software Developer, you will help design, build, enhance, and support modern web applications that power key retail investing experiences. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, partnering across teams, and delivering high-quality solutions from concept through production.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery across the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and support.
  • Build and enhance interactive, scalable web applications using modern front-end and full-stack technologies.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teammates in a collaborative, Agile environment to solve complex business and technical problems.
  • Contribute to code quality, application performance, accessibility, and continuous improvement across the development process.
  • Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen observability through logging, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, and contribute to a culture of mentorship, learning, and shared ownership.

What you have

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of professional full-stack web development experience, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Stencil JS, C#, JSON, RESTful APIs, .NET Core, HTML5 and CSS.
  • Expertise in responsive design and single-page applications (SPAs) and building accessible web applications.
  • Application performance analysis and tuning skills.
  • Experience creating and consuming RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with unit testing approaches and patterns, including TDD and BDD.
  • Hands-on experience supporting mission-critical mid-tier production environments. Troubleshoot and build, dashboards, monitoring, and alerts to help prevent recurring issues.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for building highly usable, scalable web solutions with modern development technologies.
  • Confidence solving problems in a dynamic, customer-focused team environment that embraces modern technologies and techniques.
  • Commitment to continuously strengthening your technical and professional skills, learning emerging technologies, and growing as a valued team member.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to interpret high-level and mid-level architecture documentation.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and standards, with comfort working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment that continually adopts new tools and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with development tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Bamboo.
  • AI fluency, including prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI agent development.
  • Experience in financial services, trading, or other regulated industries.

If this role aligns with your background and interests, we'd love to hear from you.
