TSMC Arizona is looking for a Gas and Chemical Systems Construction Engineer to join our 5-nanometer fab located in sunny Phoenix Arizona. The Gas and Chemical Systems Construction Engineer is responsible for participating in establishing new Fab G&C systems. Our systems are designed to run 24 hours a day 365 days a year without factory interruption creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Construction Engineers works closely with manufacturing facility teams suppliers and vendors daily to understand systems reliability and quality concerns and work to resolve issues. Physical RequirementsMay spend extended hours working inside and outside in all weather conditions and in awkward body positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. Required to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and to adjust heavy objects.The position will come in contact with sharp hot and cold equipment and parts. Must be medically qualified to wear a personal respirator.Sensory demands include exposure to the smells associated with industrial chemical operations exposure to the sounds associated with powered tools and industrial equipment. Must have the ability to safely climb ladders and work at elevation from ladders scaffolding lifts roofs or platforms and the ability to work in confined spaces.
