We are looking for a Logistics Receiver to monitor and audit incoming ingredients for compliance.Logistics Receiver, Blue Buffalo – Joplin, MOShift hours:12‑hour shifts; 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off scheduleDay shift: 6:45 am – 7 pmNight shift: 6:45 pm – 7 amCurrently hiring for night shift onlyAbility to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidaysPlant operates 24/7Pay:$20.50 per hourShift differential: additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7 pm and 7 amBenefits:Up to 10 days (120 hours) of vacation annually and 11 paid company holidaysGreat paid time off benefits401(k) matchHealth insurance – medical, dental, vision and lifePet parent perks – pet insurance and pet adoption reimbursementAnd moreWhat your day will look like:Evaluate and inspect physical, chemical and sanitary characteristics of raw ingredients, materials, products and packagingCollect and document test data, send/receive analytical samples and results, and troubleshoot process problemsSupport operators with supplies and machine assembly/disassemblyCross‑train on other positions and provide coverage when neededSanitize required areasParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesWhat you have to offer:Minimum of a high school diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of stand‑up counterbalance forklift experienceForklift experience (preferable in manufacturing or warehouse setting)Preferred: experience in a manufacturing/production environmentPreferred: experience in warehouse operations and use of a WMSForklift license/certification or willingness to obtain oneBasic computer skills, including the ability to interact with digital systems used in daily tasksPhysical requirements:Can lift up to 50 lbsCan perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twistingCan climb and/or work at heights using stairs, ladders, personnel lifts or platformsCan wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentCan work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental conditionsWilling to work around industrial high‑speed moving machineryCan work with allergens present in a food environmentCan work in a tobacco‑free environmentLocation: Joplin, MO – historic plant producing Blue Buffalo dog food and dog treats.
