The role requires flexibility between LTL and Ship Line picking and packing, and certification in both pick types.ResponsibilitiesOperate powered industrial trucks (PIT)Use RF technology (gladiator-type device) to pick orders accurately and timelyStack boxes onto a pallet, tolerating heights up to 84 inches, and label pallets with the applicable movable unitApply correct customer carton labels during picking as necessaryIdentify and resolve picking issues, reporting repetitive errors to the Supervisor or Team LeadMaintain a clean work environment in racks, aisles, and PIT areasImmediately notify Supervisor of any safety issuesWork between LTL and Ship Line order picking as neededWork an 8- or 10-hour day plus overtime as requiredLift up to at least 50 pounds repeatedlyCommunicate effectively with teammates and leadershipProcess international ordersSuccessfully complete a one-day Train the Trainer classMaintain holding training certifications for LTL and Ship Line pickingFollow all safety guidelines and report violations promptlyPerform all other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious leadership experience preferredGood communication and interpersonal skillsTrain the Trainer certification within three months of assignmentGoal oriented, able to work well under pressure and independently, with effective initiativeGood judgment and effective independent workProficient in all pick types and familiar with shipping instructions for all pick typesBasic math and keyboard skillsAttention to detail to adhere to 99.92% pick accuracy and maintain 95% efficiency ratingSafety-first mindsetPhysical DemandsFrequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.
