About the Role
We are seeking experienced Purchasing & Material Specialist to manage procurement and raw material sourcing for a global manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in purchasing, inventory control, and raw material documentation within a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and material procurement activities to support production operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Review and maintain key documents such as SDS, COA, and TDS for raw materials.
- Utilize SAP (MM module) for purchasing, material tracking, and reporting.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and reliable sourcing.
- Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting for material needs.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, and verify vendor invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of professional experience in purchasing, materials management, or procurement.
- Experience handling chemical raw materials is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP (MM module) required.
- Understanding of raw material documentation (SDS, COA, TDS).
- Fluent in English and conversational in Korean
- Must be willing and able to relocate to Savannah, GA in mid-2026 (required).
