SMSI is seeking a skilled and safety-driven Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll handle a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects—from installations and upgrades to troubleshooting and maintenance. Responsibilities: • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards • Diagnose and service motor and control systems in commercial and industrial environments • Install and assemble conduit, raceways, and cable tray systems • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Install and configure VFDs, soft starts, transformers, motors, and panelboards • Run and pull wire, conduit, and other electrical materials of various sizes • Make proper connections for motors, transformers, and related equipment • Operate equipment such as threaders, pipe benders, and cable tuggers • Manage small projects and service calls while maintaining high-quality standards • This is a safety-sensitive position Qualifications: • Journeyman Electrician license required • Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work • Strong understanding of electrical systems, theory, materials, and equipment • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics • Proficient with standard hand and power tools used in the trade • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Physically capable of performing job-related tasks • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed (majority of work is local) Compensation: $32 - $35 hourly DOE

• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to safety codes. • Analyze and repair motor and control systems commonly utilized in industrial and commercial settings. • Assemble raceway and cable tray systems. • Execute preventive maintenance activities on electrical wiring and systems. • Comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. • Exercise problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to solve problems. • Install, program, and mount VFDs, soft starts, transformers, and motors, and panelboards. • Stretch and run wire, conduit, and other materials of varying sizes. • Connect motors and transformers. • Utilize threaders, big pipe benders, and tuggers as necessary. • This position is safety sensitive.
