Job Title: IT Product Specialist II

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $75 - $95/hr, W2

Duration: 6+ Month Contract


Note, the role is 100% remote, but the working hours are 8-5pm PST

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the authoritative lead for telecom/IP network planning, design integrity, and OSS data governance within the Telecom Network Portal (TNP).
  • Own the accuracy, completeness, and lifecycle governance of all network design data supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Act as the final gatekeeper for engineering submissions, enforcing enterprise standards across internal teams and contractors.
  • Drive consistency in network modeling, design documentation, and system synchronization.
  • Influence design practices, improve processes, and mentor engineering teams.
  • Ensure that all network elements—connections, circuits, devices, and locations—are reliably modeled and aligned across integrated systems.

Requirements:

  • 10 years in telecom/network engineering, OSS platforms, or network operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, optical transport, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Experience with OSS/network inventory tools (e.g., Ericsson ENM, Nokia NSP, Oracle OSS, Bentley).
  • Deep understanding of configuration management, discovery/reconciliation, and ITIL practices.
  • Proven ability to set standards, influence engineers, and drive process improvements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in regulated/utility environments is a strong plus.
