This position maintains organizational channels of communication regarding inventory issues and works closely with Yard or DC Manager, Freight Management and Order Management to manage and maintain lead times.Primary Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Supervise cycle counts of all finished goods and resale productsReview and management of inventory reports and related productsMaintain communication with Regional DC Managers as necessaryPractice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentImmediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Yard or DC ManagerPractice proper forklift operation and preventative maintenanceMaintain and build job skills through company training programsMaintain communication with CSRs' and sales regarding lead timesMonitor customer orders and open backorders; manage sourcing issuesMonitor and maintain inventory adjustmentsMonitor In-Transit Interplant transactionsReview storage and capacity planning/issuesReview and manage Over-Allocation Report and related products for “A” item productsSeek improvements in inventory accuraciesReconcile inventory discrepanciesUnderstand and practice ADS CORE VALUESJob Skills:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management principles and techniquesUnderstanding of business operating systems, procedures, and reports; strong computer skillsWarehouse and stocking yard management, ability to resolve customer concernsMathematical skills with excellent decision making and leadership skillsAbility to communicate at different levels within the organization, good interpersonal skillsEducational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED EquivalentPreferred Experience:Related inventory experienceCompensation Range or Hourly Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annuallyIndividual pay may vary and is determined by work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
