This role is responsible for overseeing, monitoring and validating inventory levels to ensure accuracy across departments and functions. This detail-oriented role is perfect for a curious problem-solver who is deeply committed to safety.A day in the life as an Inventory Control AssociatePrimarily responsible for documenting inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses and removal of itemsPrepares inventory reportsMaintains inventory operations by following policies and procedures and reports changes as neededEnsures shipment and delivery time schedules are maintainedInvestigates and corrects inventory discrepanciesPerforms periodic review of inventory stock, recording quantity, type, and value of materials on handCleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line areasRotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the businessParticipates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the positionResponsible for the safe operation of equipment to ensure no damage to merchandise, equipment, or facilitiesPerforms safety checks on lifts, reporting any damage prior to start and end of shiftPerforms all routine equipment servicing including, but not limited to attaching a battery charger, replenishing fuel, and checking for safety of operationsPerforms all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goalsWhat you'll bring to the tableStrong mathematical skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsHigh attention to detailPossess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the positionMaintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manualsComputer literate including but not limited to Google SuiteClerical, word processing, and/or office skillsEnglish Language proficiency requiredWe'd love to hear from you if you have1+ years of related experience working with inventory control1+ years experience operating power equipmentDemonstrated strong experience working with inventory control is highly preferredWorking experience in Warehouse Management System is preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
