Your job is to satisfy our customers in a timely, professional, courteous manner always.Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems according to schematics and HVAC design specificationsPerform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiencyDiagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical system repairs or adjustmentsRepair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, including compressors, fans, motors, valves, and controlsRead and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repairsConduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed, ensuring proper connections and leak preventionProvide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutionsEnsure all work adheres to local building codes, EPA standards, and safety regulations.The Following Skills/Knowledge Are a Plus Construction experience with knowledge of building codes and safety standardsProven service technician experience with HVAC system repair and maintenanceStrong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems repairFamiliarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigerationElectrical diagnostics skills for troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC unitsMechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment installation and repair processesProficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instrumentsExperience with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems integrationValid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicle safelyEPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of environmental regulations related to refrigerantsAbility to work independently in the field performing equipment troubleshooting and repairs on-siteStrong communication skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service deliveryPay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourPaid time offApplication Question(s): Do you have a working, reliable mobile phone?Are you at least 18 years of age?Have you ever been convicted of a felony?Do you have a \"clean\" driving record?Have you ever been fired or dismissed from a job for any reason?Are you able to lift more than 50 pounds?Do you have an aversion to heights or working in tight, confined spaces?Are you self-motivated and able to work independently for periods of time?#J-18808-Ljbffr
