Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.
Shift: (4) 10 hour days w/call (1/week + 1 wkend/month)
Pre/Post RN's can come in from 0600 -0800. These RN's rotate Pre and post. They work 10 hour days. One day a week is late stay for the late cases to finish the day in Endo. They do ONE weekend a month. A 10 hr day on Saturday and get paid call for anything after 10 hours. Sunday is a Call day and usually they come in at 0630. And when the cases are done they go home and do not return for later cases as they will be done in the OR.
Must be BLS certified prior to start date.
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $32.50, max of salary range is $51.00. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
