Electrician Position

Skillforce is currently seeking experienced electricians for a reno commercial construction project in Danville, KY. This is a 3-month contract opportunity for skilled electricians who can work independently and lead by example on a fast-paced job site.

Electrician Job Scope:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Run conduit (EMT, rigid), wire, and terminate devices
• Install panels, switchgear, and lighting systems
• Ensure all work meets NEC codes and job site standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed

Electrician Requirements:

• Proven experience as a journeyman electrician
• Strong commercial electrical background
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of NEC codes and safety standards
• Must have reliable transportation and basic tools
• OSHA certification is a plus
