You are our last stop in the process to test and verify transmission units operate within standards and everything is correct before shipping. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions and to all our customers. Your day will be spent inspecting, operating and thoroughly testing transmission units following our process & procedures. You must work efficiently, interact and help other team members to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly on the production line.Responsibilities:Operate dynamometer (dyno) machine to test transmission units, pass/fail units based on data informationEnsure correct program is chosen & used for testing, closely monitor computer and unit while running testIdentify & differentiate between normal and abnormal noises, prep units for dyno, use overhead craneVisually and thoroughly inspect units for defects, install & remove hoses, process at min 4 units per hourConfirm serial number and build sheet to job/order number to verify correct unit was built & being shippedUtilize computer system to monitor work load & customer shipping orders, keep an even work flowFollow all process and procedures, perform and schedule preventative maintenance on equipmentSuggest improvements, help train new personnel and work overtime when neededFollow directions from supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful, inform supervisor of issuesMaintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time dailyEmbrace ETE Reman's Core ValuesEssential Functions:Ability to perform computer tasks, read measurements, specifications and graphs, be detail orientedMust be 18 years old, high school diploma, previous dyno experience and mechanical ability a plusWillingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and will have to work with chemicalsSkill and ability of working with your hands, hand tools (must provide your own) and other instrumentsAbility to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at timesHave a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skillsSelf-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help othersEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
