Location: Grecian Delight Foods, 1201 Tonne, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States of America.Job DescriptionThe Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and alignment between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain. This role drives the development and execution of demand plans that support customer service objectives, inventory targets, and financial goals while improving forecast accuracy and reducing business risk. Additionally, the manager is a key contributor to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by translating market intelligence, historical trends, and business insights into actionable demand forecasts that enable efficient supply chain execution.What you are going to be doingDevelop, maintain, and improve statistical and collaborative demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation (SKU, product family, location, and channel).Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, new product introductions, and customer demand signals to generate accurate forecasts.Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reduce bias.Lead monthly demand review and S&OP meetings and facilitate consensus forecasting across cross‑functional teams.Identify demand risks and opportunities and communicate impacts to stakeholders.Lead the demand planning component of the S&OP process.Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Planning teams to align forecasts with business objectives.Collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to balance inventory investment with customer service requirements.Develop and maintain demand planning KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.Drive process improvements and best practices within demand planning.Leverage forecasting software (IFS & IFS Demand Planning Server) to enhance planning capabilities and serve as a subject matter expert.What you need to haveBA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related major.5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with ERP systems such as IFS (preferred), SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.Experience with forecasting and planning tools such as IFS Demand Planning Server (preferred).Why work with usWe hold high expectations while providing a respectful work environment, fair compensation, and abundant opportunities for professional growth.
