Customer Insights Manager, Walmart and Sam's Club

The Customer Insights Manager, Walmart and Sam's Club, will serve as a strategic business partner to the National Accounts team, primarily focusing on Walmart and Sam's Club businesses. This role leverages data-driven insights to identifygrowth opportunities, inform business strategies and participate in retailer joint business planning. The manager leads the development and communication of actionable recommendations, integrating consumer, market, and channel insights to support fact-based storytelling and drive category leadership.

Essential Functions:

  • Integrate insights, consumer and market trends, competitive data, channel insights, shopper insights, etc., to fuel solution-based selling materials, Corporate Initiatives, new business development, and category reviews via Joint Business Planning (JBP) process.
  • Help establish TWG as the go-to strategic business supplier with Walmart and Sam's Club via JBP / Top-to-Top (TTT) and as a category solution expert.
  • Effectively communicate recommendations and actionable solutions on growing the business to key stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholder teams to drive new category and customer/channel strategy growth.
  • Lead Walmart and Sam's Club sales support with tools, customer insights, and compelling consumer and trade rationales to support fact-based presentations based on sales, velocities, pricing, distribution, product, and promotion analysis.

  • Collaboration with the IT department as required for current and future projects related to organizational or departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of progressive insights experience.
  • Experience in CPG or Beverage/Alcohol industry preferred.
  • Experience with Walmart and Sam's Club preferred.
  • Advanced Excel, Circana (or other retailer scan data), shopper loyalty/panel data.
  • Proficiency in Power Bi.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Primary work activities are remote.
  • Travel to Walmart and Sam's Club headquarters in Bentonville, AR as needed for customer presentations, and team meetings.
  • Occasional long-distance travel, including air travel, may be required for internal meetings such as all-hands meetings, national commercial meeting, sales kickoffs, and Walmart/Sam's Club meetings at TWG facilities in California; up to 15% of time.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid in-person/remote work environment.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively in person and via digital platforms.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $116,900 – $155,000.
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, education, and other position-related factors.
