Job Summary The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) assists the general manager in managing day‑to‑day store operations while maintaining Global Partners' policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities Complete required daily accounting paperwork and submit by deadline.Supervise, develop, train and discipline non‑exempt employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.Monitor shift cash handling and inventory, investigating shortages or overages of $100 per month or less or inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and maintain records required by the General Manager or Territory Manager.Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested, in accordance with cash control policies.Manage bank deposits, cash management procedures and change orders.Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and uphold store image standards.Ensure high levels of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and environmental compliance.Report issues to appropriate authority and management.Manage gasoline levels, coordinate deliveries, and engage in company promotional initiatives.Promote a high level of guest service and perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications 1‑2 years of supervisory experience.Must be self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised.Flexible availability for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.Strong communication, reading, writing, arithmetic skills and basic computer proficiency.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to work in varying temperatures, outdoors, and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25lb.Must be at least 18 years old and have one of the following: high‑school diploma, equivalent, or vocational/technical education.Pay Range $19.42 - $22.63 per hour, with final salary determined by experience, knowledge, skills, location, and other factors.Benefits Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.Wellness support.401(k) plan with company match.Tuition reimbursement after 6 months of service.Equal Opportunity Employer Global Partners LP is an equal opportunity employer.
